			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Printer is hardware device that gives you a pint-out in the format of text or graphic. It accept text and graphic output form system and send all output to paper. Generally printer is not come with computer, you have to buy a printer separately. There are many companies whose makes printer, some most famous brand are Hp, Dell, Epson, Brother, Lexmark, Xerox etc. Mainly we use two type of printer, ink-jet and laser printer. Both printer are different, as a quality and functionality wise. The quality of laser printer is good, therefore they are expensive.</p>
<p>Some Common problem which are facing by user</p>
<p>Most common problem face by user is that their printing  job get stuck and they are not able to clear that, sometime printer spooler service is disabled that is why printer get problem. printer repair can be done by following step: </p>
<p>1. Click Start, right-click My Computer, and then click Manage. <br />2. Expand Services and Applications, and then click Services. <br />3. Under Service status, right-click the print Spooler service, and then click Start. </p>
<p>Sometime user face problem with wireless printer, they said my printer is giving printout but it is not scanning the document. Unfortunately Generally users do not know that in wireless environment scanning is not possible at all. </p>
<p>Another problem which is common that printing process hang sometime. The main reason behind is user are using to print heavy data file as like big image. There do not know that printer help command should send according to printer capability. User should know some basic thing about the printer like: How much Processing it has, How much RAM (memory) it has, it&#8217;s DPI (dot per inch) resolution etc. </p>
<p>Above notification are mentioned by technical point of view, which is very important to repair printer. </p>
<p>And other hand what can a home user can do by their self is:  </p>
<p>Always keep your printer clean</p>
<p>It is very important that your printer should clean in both side inner and outer. Keep your printer hands clean every day. You can also clean the printer head for maintain printing quality. To clean ink-jet printer head open the outer cover and remove the print cartridge, and gently clean the print heads with a soft cotton cloths. Make sure the tip of the print cartridge should be dry. </p>
<p>Very careful when paper jam</p>
<p>When you see any paper stuck inside the printer during the printing, Remember do not ram the paper out. This can damage your printer, which have done by many users. In this case you should look at the guideline on the printer&#8217;s manuals and manufactures site. Many HP printer has facility to remove back cover to get the paper out smoothly. Whole the on Above all succession are really helpful to repair any kind printer.</p>

<p>If you have Microsoft Dynamics GP, formerly known as Great Plains Dynamics, already implemented or you plan to see executive or technical presentation, we would like to give you some technology highlights, plus customization, integration, reporting options, technical support and upgrade info.  We assume that you are in Southern California: LA and San Diego metros, Northern Illinois: Chicago metro or even USA, Canada nationwide and internationally (when you need custom programming in GP Dexterity, or need SAP Business One integration to US based Dynamics GP system).  Please, also note that if you have old version of Great Plains, you should know your database platform: GP 7.5, 7.0, 6.0, 5.5, 5.0, 4.0 and earlier were available on MS SQL Server, Pervasive SQL 2000/Btrieve and Ctree.  Also, older product Great Plains Accounting 9.5, 9.2, 9.1 and earlier versions for DOS, Windows and Mac is also supportable with some limitations, as we in turn cannot get any help directly from Microsoft Business Solutions on GPA and cannot sell new user licenses, only support what you already got historically</p>
<p>1. Local GP support in Chicago, Los Angeles, San Diego.  Available from our locations in Chicago downtown, Naperville (Chicago suburbs), San Marcos (San Diego suburbs).  Local support option is recommended when you need new Dynamics GP system implementation, plus if you have complex local integration needs: Barcoding, Integration with you Point Of Sale equipment, etc.  If you have customization coding and support issues, or need one of our products, we prefer to support you directly from our nationwide Dynamics GP technical support center and Great Plains Dexterity Software Development Factory</p>
<p>2. Nationwide Dynamics GP remote support.  This option is in fact beneficial to the customer, as you do not have to pay for our local travel and do not have to wait consultant to make her or his schedule and.  Technical support is theoretically available immediately via Web Session and Phone Conference.  If you are located Internationally, you can use such technologies as Skype for free VOIP phone conferences</p>
<p>3. Great Plains Customizations support.  We have Dexterity Software Development Factory with technicians trained in Dex and some of them came through Microsoft Business Solutions work experience.  Dexterity is one of the most popular GP modification and programming tools.  However, this is not the only tool we deploy for our customers.  We also program in eConnect (tool of choice for ecommerce integration), .Net, VBA and Modifier, SQL Scripting and advanced Dynamics GP Integration Manager integrations</p>
<p>4. Dynamics GP Integration with Microsoft RMS.  We have proven codes, as integration is very specific to your settings in RMS and how you want to map it to Dynamics GP objects.  Integration works either on Dynamics GP SOP or Receivable Management module, plus it includes POP Purchase Receipts integration and Barcode labels printing from Great Plains directly &#8211; we found that reasonable number of  MS RMS customers prefer to control these processes in their ERP, in our case Dynamics GP</p>
<p>5. eCommerce extensions, and Automatic Batch Posting from your MS Visual Studio ecommerce, EDI, etc. projects.  Great Plains batch posting directly from your eConnect web application is not available, you will need to turn your attention to the complexity of Posting process and its logic in GP Dexterity.  Our Autopost or Posting Server prepares the batches and initiates Dex source code batch posting process</p>
<p>6. Great Plains version upgrade.  Here you need to be active in Microsoft Business Solutions GP annual support program, if not call us for the options to be reenrolled.  Then you have access to new version reg key.   Dynamics GP version update should be planned, it should be done by Dynamics GP Reseller and its certified GP consultants, as there is upgrade patch and it is Service Pack and Patches specific.  If you are on the version 7.5 on Pervasive SQL/Ctree or earlier, you should come through migration to GP on Microsoft SQL Server process.  Upgrade should also include Dynamics GP ISV custom add-ons, GP ReportWriter modified reports, VBA Modifier, Integration Manager, FRx financial reports upgrade</p>
<p>7. Dynamics GP support internationally.  Typically it includes cases where you have GP Corporate ERP in USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Mexico or Spanish Speaking Latin America and want to implement GP for your foreign subsidiary or integrate non GP ERP with your Corporate ERP.  In the case when you foreign subsidiary is located in Brazil, Eastern Europe, Russia, Kazakhstan, Central Asia, we recommend you to consider SAP Business One as local branch ERP and it should be pretty simple exercise to consolidate SB1 on General ledger transactions level to Dynamics GP via Integration Manager.  FRx could also be tuned to consolidated Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement with GP Companies GL and even foreign subsidiary Excel export sheet.  Plus, consider the fact that Dynamics GP doesn&#8217;t support Unicode characters in its core functionality and architecture, so the plans to adopt GP for China, Japan, Korea and other hieroglyph alphabet countries might be too challenging.  Some support is available for Arabic language, call Microsoft in Saudi Arabia</p>
<p>8. Great Plains on Pervasive SQL or Ctree support.  If you have reasons to stay with these no longer supported by MBS directly DB platforms, we are happy to help you with day-to-day support issues, such as unlocking the batch posting failure, general data repair, user training, FRx reports design and modification, SOP Invoice form modification in Report Writer.  Plus if you decide in the future to get up to date, we are ready to help you with upgrade all the way through to whatever it will be the current version in the future</p>
<p>9. Great Pains Accounting Support.  If you are on really archaic Windows or Mac version, local visit might be recommended.  GPA could be also transferred from Windows NT 4.0 Server to something more modern, like Windows 2003 Server, in this case you would need to deploy Pervasive SQL 2000 SP3 or similar DB version.  Custom Pervasive SQL 2000 settings are required, you should call us for details and help.  GPA migration to Dynamics GP 10.0 is possible, you will get discount for currently owned GPA modules in getting ownership of Dynamics GP, terms may change by Microsoft Business Solutions without notice, we are writing these lines in August 2009</p>
<p>10. Dynamics GP EDI or Electronic Document Interchange integrations.  We offer these scripts in MS SQL Server Views and Stored procedures, that should allow you to avoid high cost for EDI Add-Ons</p>

<p>If you have Microsoft Dynamics GP implemented as your Corporate ERP application, or plan to acquire it in the near future, it is good idea to review support options.  The first thing to is probably to discuss technical support plans and hourly rates with your Microsoft Dynamics GP Partner, implementation consultant or Reseller.  Sometimes these folks, however want to provide complete support on their own, so they do not emphasize other options in your disposition.  Let&#8217;s review all the options and try to give you the most popular support issues and how they could be resolved:</p>
<p>1. Microsoft Business Solutions technical support.  If you just acquired Great Plains licenses, you should have annual enhancement plan with MBS.  There might be some confusion on the role of MBS and your Dynamics GP VAR.  Microsoft doesn&#8217;t sell licenses directly to the customer, it works through Dynamics GP reseller channel and your GP reseller is responsible for Sales cycle, modules selection and following implementation, data conversion, user training.  Dynamics GP consultants are definitely great people and have a lot of knowledge and experience, however MBS Dynamics GP software is sold with required annual enhancement plan.  This plan gives you, as end customer access to CustomerSource (below we will give you self-support scenario, available through CustomerSource), free registration key to the future versions, discounted technical support cases via MSB GP technical support and other benefits.  When you are selecting the level of the direct MBS support plan, we recommend you to discuss with your Dynamics GP Partner what is expected number of support cases – if you expect technology challenging implementation (where you may have several external legacy systems to be integrated, Integration Manager data migration, or simply when you are large organization and you expect more than twenty Great Plains user licenses) – we recommend you to consider the plan with unlimited number of technical support cases included.  This plan should save you a lot of money and consulting hours (paradoxically from your Dynamics GP Partner, who might be interested to help you directly and do not outsource support completely to Microsoft technical support team)</p>
<p>2. What is typical scope of MBS technical support case?  Please, note that the case is something small in its scope and it is not covering the whole Implementation or Version upgrade, or complete data massage and migration.  When you are coming through implementation phase, it is typically your Dynamics GP consultant, who calls or contacts MBS support via PartnerSource website.  Support case is typically one specific issue, which is expected to be resolved the same day or being reopened and resolved within few business days.  When implementation is over, and you would like to reduce Dynamics GP maintenance cost, we recommend you to get a tour on your CustomerSource and learn how to do self-support and if it doesn&#8217;t work, how to place support cases directly with MBS (without the help of your Dynamics GP consultant)</p>
<p>3. Dynamics GP Self-support on the Customer Source.  You are entitled to have access to the Customer Source, please request your Dynamics GP VAR to assist you in getting required credentials.  On the CS, please find Knowledge Base, where you can use keywords (for example, if you got error popup message, try to key in its number or several words of the message in the search edit field).  If you are pretty comfortable with web search queries (google, yahoo, msn/bing), you should expect success rate in finding relevant fix (knowledge base article) to be 50% and even much higher.  In some cases, the fix might require Microsoft SQL DBA skills (fix is done via SQL update queries), and if this is your fix situation, MBS might restrict the article to Dynamics GP Partners only, as you may have high risk to damage your SQL database (or other Great Plains resource).  If you do not see the matching fix via Customer Source knowledge base query, go ahead and place technical support case directly via customer source (typically faster and preferred by Microsoft) or via phone call.  Dynamics GP Technician from Microsoft will reply or walk you through via phone conference</p>
<p>4. What if you are on older Dynamics GP or Great Plains Dynamics/eEnterprise version and do not have support plan with Microsoft?  Well, in this scenario, you should call your Dynamics GP Reseller, who can see your records via Microsoft Business Solutions Partner Source and try to find the fix for you (chances are also high that your Great Plains Consultant knows the answer from his or her head).  In this situation you should be ready to pay hourly consulting rates for the consulting time spent.  If you are on archaic Great Plains version, such as Great Plains Accounting for DOS, Windows or Mac (9.5, 9.2 and earlier), Great Plains on Pervasive SQL 2000/Btrieve or Ctree: 7.5, 7.0, 6.0, 5.5, 5.0, or earlier – these versions are no longer supported by MBS directly and you have to find Dynamics GP Consultant who is familiar and could support these versions</p>
<p>5. Dynamics GP Typical Technical Support issues.  Here we are trying to apply statistics from our Great Plains consulting practice.  In our opinion, the most typical tech support call is the Batch failed to post all the way through.  And looking into the possible causes, these are either unexpected computer crushes (or when user initiates Batch posting process and switches the activity to surfing the Internet, where malware stalls the computer).  Second in its popularity is the user, already logged and went in limbo in killed Dynamics GP session (especially when you are Great Plains Dynamics 7.5 and earlier version).  If this is related to what you got, have all the users to log off and delete Activity in SQL Query Analyzer (SQL 2000), or delete Activity.BTR file in Dynamics/System folder on the server if you are on Btrieve/Pervasive SQL (similar fix is applicable to Ctree, but the file name is Activity.DAT)</p>
<p>6. If your Dynamics GP implementation failed – what to do?  Here you need second opinion.  We are really sorry if this is what happened with you, and we are ready to apologize, as you might be walked through Dynamics GP Sales Cycle by Dynamics GP Reseller, who is really new to the Great Plains implementation practice (who just got its certification requirements via external Dynamics GP consultants or even Contractors).  Please, try to find local Dynamics GP consultants, who have proven record of having successful implementation in your area and industry, or appeal to USA, Canada nationwide Dynamics GP Resellers.  Feel free to call our office for Second Opinion of Microsoft Dynamics GP recovery</p>

<p>If you need Great Plains or current name Microsoft Dynamics GP ERP installation, software licenses, implementation consulting, customization, integration, data conversion, ongoing data import, EDI solutions, ecommerce web design and software development, including Great Plains Dexterity, eConnect, SQL stored procedures, GP Integration Manager, VBA/Modifier, Report Writer, Crystal Reports, FRX Balance Sheet, Income Statement – we would like to offer you some Dynamics GP technical tips and highlights:</p>
<p>1.       Microsoft SQL Server 2005, or 2000 Database platform.  Dynamics GP, starting with version 8.0 is available on Microsoft SQL (including SQL 2008) Server and MSDE 2000/SQL Select 2005 exclusively.  Older version: Ctree and Pervasive SQL 2000/Btrieve were discontinued in December 2004.  If you are on older Great Plains Dynamics version: 4.0, 5.0, 5.5, 6.0, 7.0, 7.5 on legacy DB – you should consider migrating to Microsoft SQL Server and then upgrading to latest version Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0</p>
<p>2.       Dynamics GP Great Plains Integration.  Please, review GP Integration Manager first, as it may give you sound solution, IM for Dynamics GP 10.0 has new connectors, based on eConnect, meaning that you can do realtime or really fast integration (thousand transactions per minute), comparing to traditional IM connector, based on OLE Server</p>
<p>3.       FRx reports.  If you are programmer who is very familiar with SSRS or Crystal Reports, please understand that Dynamics GP financial reporting, such as Balance Sheet, P&amp;L, Statement of Cash Flow, Consolidated Financial Reporting – all these are traditionally FRx routines.  We could agree with you that Crystal should be capable to do all the imaginable and possible reports design jobs, but FRx has GL connectors, which allows you to do the job in few hours.  Please for FRx for Dynamics GP 10.0 , be aware that FRX 6.7 SP 10 is required.  For Dynamics GP 9.0 we recommend FRx SP 8</p>
<p>4.       Dynamics GP Customization.  Here you should be familiar with Great Plains Dexterity functionality and capabilities: Dex is traditional tool, in fact Dynamics GP Great Plains was architectured and initially programmed in Dexterity</p>
