Printer is hardware device that gives you a pint-out in the format of text or graphic. It accept text and graphic output form system and send all output to paper. Generally printer is not come with computer, you have to buy a printer separately. There are many companies whose makes printer, some most famous brand are Hp, Dell, Epson, Brother, Lexmark, Xerox etc. Mainly we use two type of printer, ink-jet and laser printer. Both printer are different, as a quality and functionality wise. The quality of laser printer is good, therefore they are expensive.

Some Common problem which are facing by user

Most common problem face by user is that their printing  job get stuck and they are not able to clear that, sometime printer spooler service is disabled that is why printer get problem. printer repair can be done by following step:

1. Click Start, right-click My Computer, and then click Manage.
2. Expand Services and Applications, and then click Services.
3. Under Service status, right-click the print Spooler service, and then click Start.

Sometime user face problem with wireless printer, they said my printer is giving printout but it is not scanning the document. Unfortunately Generally users do not know that in wireless environment scanning is not possible at all.

If you have Microsoft Dynamics GP implemented as your Corporate ERP application, or plan to acquire it in the near future, it is good idea to review support options.  The first thing to is probably to discuss technical support plans and hourly rates with your Microsoft Dynamics GP Partner, implementation consultant or Reseller.  Sometimes these folks, however want to provide complete support on their own, so they do not emphasize other options in your disposition.  Let’s review all the options and try to give you the most popular support issues and how they could be resolved:

1. Microsoft Business Solutions technical support.  If you just acquired Great Plains licenses, you should have annual enhancement plan with MBS.  There might be some confusion on the role of MBS and your Dynamics GP VAR.  Microsoft doesn’t sell licenses directly to the customer, it works through Dynamics GP reseller channel and your GP reseller is responsible for Sales cycle, modules selection and following implementation, data conversion, user training.  Dynamics GP consultants are definitely great people and have a lot of knowledge and experience, however MBS Dynamics GP software is sold with required annual enhancement plan.  This plan gives you, as end customer access to CustomerSource (below we will give you self-support scenario, available through CustomerSource), free registration key to the future versions, discounted technical support cases via MSB GP technical support and other benefits.  When you are selecting the level of the direct MBS support plan, we recommend you to discuss with your Dynamics GP Partner what is expected number of support cases – if you expect technology challenging implementation (where you may have several external legacy systems to be integrated, Integration Manager data migration, or simply when you are large organization and you expect more than twenty Great Plains user licenses) – we recommend you to consider the plan with unlimited number of technical support cases included.  This plan should save you a lot of money and consulting hours (paradoxically from your Dynamics GP Partner, who might be interested to help you directly and do not outsource support completely to Microsoft technical support team)

1.       Microsoft SQL Server 2005, or 2000 Database platform.  Dynamics GP, starting with version 8.0 is available on Microsoft SQL (including SQL 2008) Server and MSDE 2000/SQL Select 2005 exclusively.  Older version: Ctree and Pervasive SQL 2000/Btrieve were discontinued in December 2004.  If you are on older Great Plains Dynamics version: 4.0, 5.0, 5.5, 6.0, 7.0, 7.5 on legacy DB – you should consider migrating to Microsoft SQL Server and then upgrading to latest version Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0

Hardware is the mechanical, magnetic, electronic and electrical components making up a computer system. Hardware comprises all of the physical parts of a computer, as distinguished from the data it contains or operates on, and the software that provides instructions for the hardware to accomplish tasks. PC Hardware is the assembled by the manufacturer, and any device that is connected to the computer and is controlled by the microprocessor of the computer.

Details about PC Hardware can be easily accessed in Device Manager of a personal computer. All the PC Hardware devices are listed on the device manager installed of the computer. The device manager, in a computer, can be used to change the properties of any device. Each device is listed under the hardware to which it is connected. The hardware devices, which are installed in the computer and are connected, are grouped as type of resources- Direct Memory Access (DMA), Input/output (I/O), Interrupt Request (IRQ) and Memory.

The Hardware in the device manager can be seen as how they are connected to the computer. PC Hardware profiles provide a way to set up and store different hardware configurations. Hardware Profiles suggest which driver to load when the available PC Hardware changes. PC hardware requires resources to properly operate with the computer and the software installed in the computer.
