Published on November 20, 2011 By admin

With all the spyware removal software and processes to remove spyware from your desktop, laptop or notebook, why should you go to a professional to have it removed when you could do it yourself? The answer is, you can’t do it yourself. There are several reasons you should prefer a professional computer specialist over your own work to remove spyware from your computer in order to keep it in top running condition. These reasons include personal security, assurance that the virus, spyware or malware is completely removed, and less annoyance when working with your computer from then on.

Security

Spyware gets into your computer, whether it’s a desktop or laptop, and sort of sneaks around until they find your personal, private information to use against you. Potentially this information can be used to steal your identity, commit fraud in your name, and rack up bills and debts you didn’t know you had. It is extremely important in today’s time to limit the effectiveness of spyware by removing and preventing it. Though spyware removal software is effective, it is only effective in the right hands. A professional computer repair specialist can take your computer and correctly diagnose what type of spyware/ malware is on your PC or Laptop then use the correct spyware removal software.

Viruses:

Viruses – A virus is a small piece of software that replicates itself. A virus might attach itself to a program such as a spreadsheet program. Each time the spreadsheet program runs, the virus runs, too, and it has the chance to reproduce (by attaching to other programs) or wreak havoc. E-mail viruses – An e-mail virus moves around in e-mail messages, and usually replicates itself by automatically mailing itself to dozens of people in the victim’s e-mail address book. Worms – A worm is a small piece of software that uses computer networks and security holes to replicate itself. A copy of the worm scans the network for another machine that has a specific security hole. It copies itself to the new machine using the security hole, and then starts replicating from there, as well. Trojan horses – A Trojan horse is simply a computer program. The program claims to do one thing (it may claim to be a game, or a “free” piece of software) but instead does damage when you run it (it may erase your hard disk). Trojan horses have no way to replicate automatically. They are called Trojan horses because they are sometimes disguised as normal computer programs.
