No doubt IT had its birth in overseas, but its India and we Indians who helped it to grow and touch its peak .This is one such field which gave scope for thousands of talents to enhance their capabilities and make the most out of it.
Now coming to the fact majority of the companies in overseas work on their projects and investments in India, since the value of Dollar sounds 42 times high. For example IBM, Dell, Accenture, Oracle etc.Several Indian Companies like Infosys, Wipro, and Satyam also have their major deals with foreign markets.
The present crisis that brought IT down in numbers evident in sensex listing; what could the reasons be. For a country like India where IT has been a source for existence, how is it able to withstand the downfall? What factors lead to such recession?
History repeats, the downfall of sensex and IT have happened in year 2001, when WTC collapsed. Next was during the time of Harshad Mehta Scam in 1993.Reasons for present downtrend is Inflation. Example, the VAT percentage was 4, six months before, now its 12.5% .So profits of big organizations in overseas are paid back in tax form. Next, small companies which work for months together to make those little profits can no longer sustain with this rise in Inflation.

When people hear the words “Information Technology,” the first things that come to mind are computers and the Internet. It may also bring up words like “network,” “intranet,” “server,” “firewall,” “security,” as well as more arcane expressions such as “router,” “T-1,” “Ethernet,” or the mysterious and exotic-sounding “VoIP” (pronounced “voyp”).
In fact, information technology is all of these things, and more. It’s hardly new, however. Information technology is as old as the brain itself, if you think of the brain as an information processor. As far as I.T. being a science, even that goes back as far as the earliest attempts to communicate and store information.
And that is essentially what information technology is: the communication and storage of information, along with the ability to process and make use of the information stored. In this chapter, we’ll begin with a brief history of I.T., what it comprises today, and the different major types of I.T. systems available today.
A Short History of Information Technology
As human societies have grown in size and complexity, so has the need to collect, store and transmit information. While it could be argued that brains represent a form of “bio-information technology,” Greek word “Tektra” – from which we get the word “technology” – really refers to scientific or mechanical knowledge, particularly that which involves the use of tools. Therefore, we’ll begin our journey with humans first attempts to record and transmit knowledge through mechanical means. Read more...

We are in the thick of autumn. It’s almost time to “fall back” and change our clocks for Daylight Savings Time. It’s also the time of year when many public safety and fire departments advise people to replace the batteries in their smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. Aurora Information Technology, a medical marketing company based in Garrison, New York, also asks doctors and healthcare providers take a look at their websites as well to see if their message and marketing may need a recharge, or even a replacement.
Aurora IT believes that a marketing update is important for doctors to consider whether they already have a website, or are considering creating one. For doctors with existing websites, six months in the market is a long time, and much can change. With emerging scientific discoveries and technology, the medical information on their sites may already be out of date, or at least in desperate need of a revision. The same holds true for their photos and videos. Even their search engine optimization (SEO) keywords may need a second look. Life and business move that fast.
For those healthcare providers that do not have a website and are wondering if they even need one, Aurora IT asks, “what are you waiting for?” Online business marketing practices are moving at such a warp speed that it is incomprehensible not to be a part of the movement. Miss a little and miss a lot. A website gives doctors an opportunity to manage their brand presence and offer services quickly and distinctively. The lack of a presence may not only hurt their bottom line but also their reputation. Doctors need to manage their marketing message and character with an interactive website and a constant Internet presence. Read more...

The Information Technology (IT) industry is well known for experiencing growing pains related to the technological advancements that are the foundation of the field itself. Advancements in technology, while necessary, often force IT professionals to focus on a particular area of expertise in order to meet the specialized needs of different industries. This newfound emphasis on specialization has led to the creation of new positions within the IT field with expansion resulting in job diversification.
Not so long ago, IT managers and administrators were responsible for all facets of a company’s data systems, including development, accessibility, storage and security. These rising stars of the computer age were often single handedly responsible for maintaining the systems that businesses relied upon to function. For many, budgetary free reign was allowed for software and hardware purchasing with the singular requirement that all systems continue to run smoothly and effectively. Larger organizations often had in-house IT administrators who worked alongside the employees of companies that provided implementation services. The outsourced agents were a necessity for the maintenance of massive IT installations, while their company counterparts served to relay information regarding the purchased systems to management in a jargon free and palatable manner.
